The Founder’s Shelf
Why This Library Exists
A structured system for writers who want clarity about their creative identity — built by an author who kept hearing the same question.
From the Creator
The question I kept hearing
Over the years, as people learned that I was an author, a question came up again and again.
Someone would tell me they had always wanted to write a book. They had ideas. They had interests. Sometimes they had even imagined themselves as writers earlier in life.
But the same uncertainty always followed.
What should I write about?
Where would I even start?
How do you find your author voice?
The pattern became impossible to ignore. Many people feel the pull toward writing, but they never move forward because the path isn't clear. They assume writers simply "know" what to write about, when in reality most authors discover their direction gradually through reflection, experimentation, and structure.
Eventually I began thinking about whether those questions could be approached more systematically. What if a platform could help someone examine their interests, themes, motivations, and intellectual tendencies in a structured way? What if a writer could begin to see patterns in their own thinking that pointed toward the kinds of books they were naturally suited to write?
That idea eventually became MyAuthorVoice.
The platform was built to help writers move past the vague desire to write and toward a clearer understanding of what they might actually create — not by writing the book for them, but by helping them see the direction their voice already points.
Reports generated by MyAuthorVoice are produced through a structured analytical framework built into the platform. They are intended to provide perspective and direction, not definitive literary judgment. Writing remains a human process shaped by curiosity, experience, and persistence over time.

The three reports
Path
Your current voice positioning. Where you are right now — your strengths, your friction points, and the immediate directions available to you.
Expansion
Where your voice can grow. An analysis of your thematic territory, your approach to conflict, your audience alignment, and the specific directions where your voice can expand without losing what makes it distinct.
Blueprint
Your long-range strategy. A complete strategic document that includes three personalized book concepts derived from your profile, a publishing pathway assessment, and a 5-year orientation plan.
Clarity, not speed
The goal is not speed. It is not hype. It is clarity.
A precise, honest picture of where you stand and where you can go. The reports are built from your intake responses, not from templates. The analysis is tailored to what you actually wrote. The tone is calm and direct. Every sentence is meant to be useful.
If you are looking for motivation, there are better places to find it. If you are looking for structure — for a clear, honest assessment of your voice and your positioning — this is what MyAuthorVoice is for.
